RT2-II Isodynamic tweeter features

The driving systems composed of 2 layers of neodymium iron boron magnet create a push-pull actuation, which fill excellent absorb sound materials at back of film membrane, increase damp at back of film membrane, eliminate unnecessary vibration and reduce distortion. The panel of it applied new duralumin alloy, the needs of sound radiation to design its shape, which match with 2 row holes of front armor plate create equal and wide response. There is no resonance in working frequency band and impedance curve is a beeline, there is nearly no resonance wave distortion. Knowing all of the fantastic features of RT1-II, comparing with common speakers, it will give you a definite answer: Why are nitpicks audiophiles looking for ribbon loudspeakers in speaker books? Because they cannot find a loudspeaker whose sound are clear, clarity and full details, but those are the outstanding features of ribbon tweeter.

De eigenschappen van de Isodynamic (ribbon) tweeter
Traditional dometweeter electromotion style loudspeaker applied voice coil to make film membrane work indirectly, which makes easy produce various of unbalanced sound, meanwhile difficult to replay high sound pressure because of the restrict of physics materials. The ribbon loudspeaker's voice coil is manufactured in the surface of the film membrane, which can sync and equally drive air. It has world recognized features, i.e. quick response, low-distortion, accurate and clean sound.
Swans has researched ribbon tweeter for several years, during
this time, many products were born, of which brand new RT1-II was born recently on the base. The film membrane of it applied Kapton, which voice and film membrane combine together, the aluminum conduction part of voice coil takes more than 90% and painted 3um anti-oxidized coating can prevent the aluminum oxidation when sudden hot for aluminum conduction wire.The vibration quality can be ignored compare with traditional ball top tweeter, it is of 25mg, just as 1/5 of common tweeter, which means that any input transient state messages can be made transient response.

RT1C-A features

The RT1C-A has an exceptional ability to reveal the dynamics of instruments with complex high frequency spectra. Unlike conventional tweeters and electrostatic speakers, the RT1C-A has an extremely wide sound dispersion in the horizontal plane. The radiating area of the tweeter is 50 x 13 mm, where 13mm defines the horizontal dimension.
At the same time, contrary to other dynamic tweeters, the RT1C-A has well-controlled dispersion in the vertical plane.
This feature helps to avoid disturbing floor and ceiling reflections in home environments. What is wonderful is that you don't have to use three tweeters in home theater systems anymore in order to achieve the desired vertical directivity

DMA-A Dome Midrange features
The pertinent command for DMA by US authorized magazine: "DMA-A obviously is of top field."
- Vance Dickason US Pro V.C Magazine -

HI-end reference grade midrange loudspeaker is the new improvement of DMA-A. DMA-A new low-distortion leading resonance style structure midrange loudspeaker applied natural fibre knit special damp of 50mm ball top midrange film membrane with natural and accurate sound. High power aluminium framework voice coil match with aluminium surrounded line packed with copper can increase power output and leading resonance structure, reduce Q value of unit resonance and distortion, widen frequency response scale.
Because the mostly distortions of midrange loudspeaker occur at resonance frequency phrase, it can reduce phrase
distortion through several of low distortion leading resonance structure, and makes the whole working frequency response are in the working situation of low distortion.
Otherwise, even if the filtered but unclean low frequency signals are input, but no noise with loudspeaker. DMA-A suit for advanced monitor system for midrange units.

Special Swans double alnico full symmetry magnetic circuit system and low-distortion leading resonance style structure have high sensitivity and lowest distortion. There is a vent at low distortion leading resonance style structure on the back of midrange loudspeaker film membrane; the exit of vent is a big volume strong sound absorption non-resonance sealed back cavity. The vibration system includes: film membrane, voice coil, small quantity of air volume on the back of film membrane, and a reflex acoustics resonance system.

M5A features

  • Extremely rigid Aluminum/Magnesium cone
  • Specially made high loss rubber surround
  • Shielded double magnet system
  • High power handling Kapton® voice coil former
  • Air transparent spider
  • High density aluminum die-cast basket
  • Symmetric Motor Drive (SMD) technology

    The design of the M5a has been optimized for an extended and dynamic bass reproduction in small vented systems. Midrange clarity and accuracy is remarkable. The M5A utilizes our unique one-piece aluminum/magnesium composite cone. The cone's superior rigidity provides for dynamic and accurate reproduction of transient attacks. This contributes to a more naturally dynamic sound. The back of the cone is hand coated with a special dampening compound to further maximize performance stability and control of structural resonances. The high temperature voice coil former and SV wire, air transparent spider and venting of the coil allow for good power handling.
  • Using Finite Element Analysis simulation, we optimized the complete magnet structure and specifically shaped the pole piece to achieve symmetric flux distribution along the travel path of the voice coil. This design approach provides better driving force linearity. It considerably reduces voice coil inductance modulation and DC offset of the moving system at high power levels. The result is much less distortion and more effective voice coil cooling. The massive aluminum die-cast basket has been developed to minimize parasitic structural resonances. A shielded magnet structure allows the M5A to be easily incorporated into audio/video applications.

    The driver may be used in a small closed box as a midrange unit in a three-way system and the good extension (50 Hz) in a vented enclosure allows for use in a two-way two-driver or MTM configured system. Recommended crossover frequency region for a two-way system design is 2-5 kHz. Incorporated into the Diva line of loudspeakers manufactured by Swans the M5a earned the Exceptional Value Award at The Home Entertainment Show.

    M8A  - features

  • Extremely rigid Aluminum/Magnesium cone
  • Specially made high loss rubber surround
  • High power handling Kapton® voice coil former
  • Air transparent spider
  • High density aluminum die-cast basket
  • Symmetric Motor Drive (SMD) technology

    The design of the M8a has been optimized for an extended and dynamic bass reproduction in small vented systems. Clarity and accuracy is remarkable. The M8a utilizes our unique one-piece aluminum/magnesium composite cone. The cone's superior rigidity provides for dynamic and accurate reproduction of transient attacks. This contributes to a more naturally dynamic sound and superior definition and articulation in the mid-bass region.

The M8a provides excellent quality bass definition with good extension (40 Hz). It can be used to good effect in a medium sized two-way system or as a woofer in a three-way system. Incorporated into the Diva line of loudspeakers manufactured by Swans the M8a earned the Exceptional Value Award at The Home Entertainment Show 2000. Recommended crossover frequency region for a two-way system design is 1-2 kHz.

    F8 Bass-Midrange - features

  • Light and extremely rigid Kevlar/paper composite cone;
  • specially made high loss rubber surround;
  • shielded double magnet motor structure;
  • high power handling aluminum former voice coil;
  • flat linear spider;
  • high-density aluminum die-cast basket.
    An accurate and uncompressed sound performance at realistic loudness levels represents the ideology implemented in this driver. The design of F8 has been optimized for balanced and dynamic low bass reproduction in compact or medium vented systems. Midrange clarity and tonal balance is remarkable.

    F8 utilizes a newly developed matrix of Kevlar and paper fibers. As a result, the cone weighs less, is more rigid and has an improved dampening factor over conventional Kevlar materials.

  • The back of the cone is hand coated with a special dampening compound to further maximize performance stability and control of structural resonances. The driver utilizes a vented aluminum voice coil former and flat air transparent spider to avoid air compression and ensure maximum power handling.

    The massive aluminum die-cast basket has been developed to minimize parasitic structural resonances.

    A shielded magnet structure allows the F8 to be easily incorporated into audio/video applications.

    F8 has a remarkably smooth frequency response (within +/- 1.7 dB tolerance in 70 - 3000 Hz range, measured in IEC baffle).
